About canon-fanon
The term "canon-fanon" was coined by this Wiki's founder, The Time Lord. It refers to the lifeblood of this Wiki, a type of fan-fiction that is taken seriously when written and intended to be of the same quality as the material featured in a subject's official canon.
A more "sophisticated" style of fan-fiction writing, canon-fanon is hosted on Wiki pages, rather than in the form of novels or short stories (as is typical on sites like Fanfiction.net). In a nutshell, this Wiki is a repository for fan creativity.
The canon-fanon hosted on this Wiki is written by Doctor Who fans, for Doctor Who fans. It is intended to be part of the official Doctor Who canon despite its lack of recognition from the BBC.
